About us
Kuwait Economic Society (KES) is an independent non-governmental organization, founded in Kuwait in 1970 pursuant to the order issued by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour published in Official Gazette "Al-Kuwait Al-Yawm" issue No. (778) dated 24/5/1970 in accordance with the provisions of the Law No. (5) concerning "Public Societies and Clubs". KES has no political or sectarian ties; it is a professional and intellectual initiative built on the fundamental premise that the key to sustainable economic development rest on real partnership between civil society, private sector, and policy decision makers, government and parliament.

Economic Committees
It is a committee composed of members of the Board of Directors concerned with developing and reviewing economic policies and then submitting them to the Board of Directors. This committee is chaired by Mr. Muhammad Mutaib Al-Rasheed
It is the committee concerned with establishing various cultural activities through holding conferences, seminars, workshops, press meetings and opinion polls to present economic and financial problems and find appropriate solutions to them to serve the public interest. The committee is chaired by Mrs. Haya Bodaii.
Aware of the importance of the human element, the Kuwait Economic Society organizes many technical, administrative and specialized training courses that are of interest to a large segment of the society's members and members of society from the economic point of view. A large number of these courses have benefited due to the diversity of its training curriculum, as the association aspires to improve training programs and work to establish a training center affiliated with the Kuwait Economic Society, and this committee is chaired by Mr. Muhammad Al-Arian
It is the committee concerned with spreading the culture of creativity and innovation and motivating young people to self-employment through small projects. This committee is chaired by Mr. Hamad A. Alqatami

Through the economic diwaniya, the association attracts many personalities from inside and outside Kuwait to discuss topical issues of importance to the Kuwaiti street, especially issues of economy, money, real estate and oil. Sultan Musaed Al-Jazzaf
It is the committee concerned with social activities in order to enhance communication, links and cooperation among members. Through this committee, the Kuwait Economic Society organizes many social activities and events that aimed at expanding the scope of social acquaintance with the association and its activities, in addition to strengthening the ties between its members and increasing acquaintance among them.
This committee works to increase the financial resources of the association through marketing and renting halls and fully supervising the insurance and maintenance of the building.
